HHSC has issued and posted the Quality Incentive Payment Program (QIPP) Year 6 Scorecards for Adjustment Period 1.
QIPP is a voluntary state-wide performance-based payment program designed to incentivize nursing facilities (NFs) to improve the quality and innovation of their services. Two classes of providers are eligible to participate:
- Non-state government-owned NFs.
- Private NFs.
Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) are notified of the scorecard payment information as of the date of this notice. As outlined in HHSC Uniform Managed Care Manual Chapter 5.20, MCOs make payments within 20 days of when the scorecard is issued.
The scorecard is published on the HHS Provider Finance Department QIPP webpage.
