HHSC announces newly adopted rules implementing Senate Bill 50, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021

HHSC has adopted new program rules in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Title 26, Part 1, Chapter 284, effective Nov. 14, 2023, related to competitive and integrated employment initiative for certain Medicaid recipients.

Impacted programs:

Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS)
Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) programs
Home and Community-Based Services (HCS)
Texas Home Living (TxHmL)
STAR+PLUS Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
