What We Do
The HHS Aging Services Coordination office works with state and local businesses, community leaders and citizens to help HHS achieve its mission and vision - to improve the health, safety and well-being of Texans by being good stewards of public resources and that through those efforts we can truly make a positive difference in the lives of all Texans. ASC works to ensure that older adults are provided with programs and supports that promote and enhance their well-being, options for staying connected with their communities and information about available services and supports. You can help by:
- Creating and supporting options that help older residents stay connected to their communities
- Ensuring your community has activities that support health and well-being
- Partner with HHS to support older Texans
