Residential treatment services for substance use disorders are provided in licensed facilities where people live for a specific period of time. Treatment includes counseling, case management, education and skills training. Intensive residential treatment provides at least 30 hours of intensive services per week.

Who Is Eligible for Residential Treatment Services?

  • Adults
  • Texas residents who meet financial eligibility that is determined by your income and expenses. The financial eligibility determines the level at which you may be expected to share the cost for services.
  • People diagnosed with moderate or severe substance use disorder
