The person in your family who receives employer-sponsored health insurance needs to call HIPP first. That person must tell us who we can talk to about your family’s case. That person must either call HIPP to provide verbal consent or send in a completed consent form.
Always include your name and case number on every page when sending documents to HIPP. Only send copies when mailing documents to HIPP. We cannot return paper documents.
- If you are getting HIPP, call the HIPP Helpline at 800-440-0493, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time. If you are a current member, have your case number ready when you call.
- If you are an employer, call the HIPP Employer line at 800-471-7792, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time.
- If you have a speech or hearing disability, use the relay service of your choice. The state of Texas offers Relay Texas at 7-1-1.
