2347.2 Presentation of Information to Community Attendant Services Applicants Removes the HHSC Consumer Hotline number. Non-regulatory complaints are sent to the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Ombudsman.
2710.5 Actions Required After Monitoring Removes the Consumer Rights and Services Hotline.
2736.1 Reporting Service Delivery Issues Removes the Consumer Rights and Services Hotline from the section title. Program provider service delivery issues may be reported to the HHS Office of the Ombudsman. Adds complaints of a regulatory nature about nursing facilities, home and community support service agencies, intermediate care facilities, assisted living facilities, day activity and health services, prescribed pediatric extended care centers, and Home and Community-based Services and Texas Home Living providers should be reported to Consumer Rights and Services at 1-800-458-9858 or crscomplaints@hhsc.state.tx.us to generate an investigation by Regulatory Services.
