Jordan Dixon is the HHS deputy executive commissioner for the Office of Transformation and Innovation where she oversees the implementation of innovative measures to improve the value HHS programs offer clients and taxpayers.
Dixon comes to HHS after serving as director of the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services for four years. During that time, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 200, the bill transforming the HHS system as part of the Sunset process.
She has extensive experience in the HHS budget as well as initiatives related to cost containment and improved efficiencies in Medicaid and other Texas healthcare programs.
Dixon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Southwestern University in Georgetown and a Master of Public Policy from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
