An updated PDF version of the QIPP Year Three Quality Metrics is on the QIPP Resources page. This update includes redefined quality metric for pressure ulcers and clarifying language throughout.
- HHSC has replaced quality metric N015.01 with metric N015.02 in Component 3.
- This transition follows replacement of metric 403 with metric 453 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the Nursing Home Compare Website. CMS has published enough historical data for the new N015.02 measure for HHSC to calculate facility-specific baselines according to the current method.
- HHSC has added a section titled “Availability” to the discussion of telehealth services into pages covering Component 2. This clarifying language addresses questions received during the first nursing facility training webinar.
The QIPP website is undergoing several changes to prepare for QIPP Year Three. The program descriptions, FAQ, and resources page are being updated with information relating to the QIPP FY2020 eligibility period which begins Sept. 1, 2019.
