Many providers have reported slowness when trying to login to their Child Care Licensing Account or when attempting an action in the account, such as submitting a background check or a waiver/variance request. Child Care Licensing and HHSC IT are aware of the issues and are working diligently to identify and correct the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this is causing.
Until this problem is resolved, there are ways you can help. If you click a button to login or submit an action and experience slowness, do not keep clicking the button. Clicking a button multiple times will not resolve the issue, but may contribute to the slowness. Instead, take a break and return at a later time. If the issue persists, logout and try again at a different time.
Please report any issues you are experiencing with as much detail as possible (i.e. date/time the issue was experienced, steps taken prior to and after experiencing the issue, and any relevant screenshots) to the CCL Initiatives mailbox. Your reports could help IT identify the source of the problem. If you are worried about missing a timeframe due to your inability to perform an action through your Child Care Licensing Account, please contact your licensing or CBCU inspector.
We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue as promptly as possible.
