Join us for the Meaningful Activities to Enhance Quality of Life conference. This free 1-day training has been designed for all nursing facility staff, including nurses, licensed nursing facility administrators, activity directors and social workers. Using evidence-based best practices, this training will show staff members how to implement individualized activities that are consistent with the resident’s preferences, customary habits and lifestyle, improving quality of life and quality of life. Participants will learn how to develop person-centered activity programs that are both meaningful and relevant to the residents, while meeting federal regulations related to nursing facility activity programs.

Attendees will also have the option to nominate their facility to receive a complimentary, customized activity program set up for their facility. To participate in the nomination process, a facility staff member MUST attend one of the trainings. Only 20 facilities will be selected from those nominated; the selected facilities will participate in a 2 day activity program set up that will be held between August 2018 and January 2019.
